Meghan Markle "Dupe" Wedding Day Make Up
Obvi Meghan Markle is a goddess we plebes don't deserve, but nevertheless, she has graced humanity with her presence. One of the things I admire about Meghan is that she embraces her natural beauty. I used to love the “glam” look, I still do in many ways, but when Meghan made natural makeup sexy, it encouraged me to embrace my natural complexion too. You see, I am hella white. Like, painfully white. Like, I have blonde eyebrows, eyelashes, you can see my veins through my white ass skin... you know, just painfully white. As kids often do, I was picked on for my extremely white complexion when I was young. I was called “cancer face”, “albino”, “two face”, “moon face”, “no eyebrows face”, “ugly” - the list goes on. I don't know why children can sometimes be little dicks, but most of us grow up and forget their words. For me, their snarks lingered - I hid behind makeup to look more "normal."
Needless to say, I have spent so much f*cking money on eyebrow tints, eyelash extensions, fake tanner and spray tans that I could have fed a whole village (God, makes me sick). Even though I still love the “glam” look and all that entails, I no longer feel like I have to hide behind it to feel attractive. When Meghan's make-up artist shared her entire wedding day make-up look, I freaked the “f” out. However, Mami's got bills she has to pay. Thus, my “dupe” products. Look below to find out a plebe's version of Meghan's wedding day look.
I used to work at Clinique so I know a lot about their products, but for realz, this foundation is legit. It's super light like Meghan's but half the price.
