Hella Healthy Snacks

I cannot tell you how much I love to eat. I understand the benefits of "fasting," however, yours truly ain't doing that. I stick to the traditional "small meal every three hours." It has worked well for me. I am sharing a handful of suggestions for simple, easy snacks to eat every three (or two, if you're like me) hours.

1) zucchini pizza bites

All time favorite, forever and ever, Amen.

Set oven to 475

1 Zucchini sliced

1 can of Marinara

Cheese

Garlic powder

Red pepper

Salt

Ladies and gentleman, all you do is slice the zucchini, put Marinara sauce and cheese on top. Bake for 5 - 7 minutes. Salt, pepper, to taste. If you love pizza like me, you're going to love this, especially if you put a good bit of garlic powder on them.

2) Cheese, Pickles, & Olives

It's like a charcuterie board, minus the Italian men and crackers.

Extra sharp cheddar cheese

Claussen pickles (your preference, but I love those little suckers)

Olives of your choice

Simply go to the fridge and get these three delicious snacks and enjoy yourself. You may as well get a glass of wine while you're at it, too. Just stay away from the crackers since I typically follow a fairly strict "low carb" lifestyle.

3) Carrots & Ranch

Simple, easy, just the way I like it.

Bag of adult carrots

Ranch

I don't like the baby carrots. They taste different to me. I prefer the adults because they're not as sweet. I simply peel and munch on them like Bugs Bunny. I don't really follow the low fat path, so I eat regular Ranch, but that is completely up to you.

BONUS

I always carry wasabi almonds and peanut butter in my purse (yes, peanut butter). I can have a nice peanut butter lollipop anytime I'm hungry and then wash it down with something spicy.
